As a devoted long-term client and the photographer tasked with capturing their new branding images, it’s with great pleasure that I invite you to embark on a journey through the polished world of this remarkable local business. With a balance of professionalism and warmth, there are so many exceptional offerings that make Interior Homestore a true gem. The magic behind everything they do is fabulous lead designer, Carol Davis; her husband, John; and their team of designers and assistants.
Within the walls of Interior Homestore lies a fusion of bespoke interior design, remodeling services, and carefully curated furniture and decor—a sanctuary where homes come alive with character and charm. I’ve worked with Carol on a studio buildout, new home build, and several major remodeling projects over the years. I’ve trusted her to understand the way we live, and create a design plan that surpasses my expectations every single time. Carol's vision transcends mere aesthetics; it weaves a tale of authenticity, comfort, and individuality. I’ve witnessed firsthand the unwavering dedication and creativity that Carol and her team bring to each client and project. Each time I visit, I’m reminded of how great Carol is at sensing where home design trends are going, while injecting her fresh, timeless aesthetic into every room vignette. She’s always educating herself on the latest and best furniture and accessory lines, products, and craftspeople to execute her vision for each and every client. Carol and her team create a holiday wonderland filled with ideas to transform your home that each year is somehow more fantastic than the last. She and John are consummate hosts who know how to treat their many cherished clients and friends. We always feel like family when we pop into the Interior Homestore. I never fail to leave inspired and ready to make my spaces more beautiful and better suited to the way we are using them.
As soon as you cross the threshold, greeted by Carol or a friendly member of her team, you enter into a series of rooms, each decorated in a beautiful and unique way. This last visit, I found a calf hide layered on a coffee table with beautiful accessories and a lovely lamp. Gorgeous lighting fixtures provide the finishing touch in each space. Comfortable furniture pieces from hand-selected lines are easy to sink into and stay awhile as you take in every detail. Every corner of the store resonates with home decor pieces that reflect the tastes and desires of those who long to transform their surroundings into personal narratives.

It’s been my distinct pleasure to have worked with Carol professionally for over twenty years. I’ve captured headshots, personal branding images, interiors, events, and details. This trip I spent several hours with Carol at the Interior Homestore and her living laboratory—the stunning home she shares with her husband and right hand man, John. We created portraits in a number of recently updated spaces so Carol has images for her website, public appearances, and magazine features. She also has a fresh new look for all of her social pages. During our recent visit, I spied a lovely fabric swatch she’s trying out for new pillows in her library, and heard about how she created the most perfect outdoor space for entertaining family and friends. Carol has taught me to live beautifully over the years. She’s saved me from many costly design mistakes that could have been made without her guidance and professional expertise. I trust her and love the results every time!
