Anne-Marie believes in the power of education and is constantly teaching and mentoring other photographers. She makes it a priority to continue learning from the best and brightest within the photographic industry.

Anne Marie is also a Certified Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers of America, a designation carried by less than 8% of the photographers in the nation. Her work has won international awards and been accepted into the Image Excellence, Showcase, and General Collection of Merit Images with PPA. She has owned Lasting Images Photography for over 19 years.

When you hire a photographer, you want the best. Unfortunately, anyone can claim to be a professional photographer. Correct posing and lighting, the ability to anticipate those once-in-a-lifetime moments and most importantly, extensive experience, can make all the difference in the visual records of your life. You want to look your absolute best in portraits, whether you are a high school senior, a bride, a parent or anyone else wanting to capture a memory. The Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) Certification program is recognized throughout the industry as a mark of excellence. When you see a photographer displaying the Certified Professional Photographer seal, you can be assured that he or she is among the less than 8% of all imaging professionals who have successfully completed and maintained our requirements.

Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) is a designation granted by the Professional Photographic Certification Commission, the leading certification agency in the world for imaging professionals.

To assure you of the level of expertise of your photographer, and continuance to develop new skills and techniques, those who have earned the CPP designation:

Pass a comprehensive written exam measuring their technical expertise

Successfully submit a portfolio of their work to a panel of judges for review and approval

Renew credentials every 3 years with continuing education, submitting work for critical evaluation, or retaking the certification exam.

  • Family Session fees begin at $125. Generally, our clients spend on average, between $1,000-$3,000 on wall portraits, gift prints, albums, and specialty items including framing.

Session fees are paid at the time of session booking and are non-refundable — as we have set aside an appointment time especially for you. There is no minimum order required. Of course, Anne-Marie's goal is to create portraits that you can't live without, so be prepared to fall in love with lots of images and order many of them.

  • It covers your photographer's time, the investment that she makes yearly in equipment, education and additional training to become even better, and travel expenses within the Prescott area. The session fee does not include any image files or prints. Additional charges may apply to clients more than 25 miles from Prescott city limits. Session fees are paid at the time of appointment booking.

  • For a young child or small family, a session often goes much faster than a large family or senior with six clothing changes. Recently, we did a family session with five children ranging in age from 5-14 in under an hour. Depending on the type of session, times range from half an hour to two and a half hours. We create several different compositions, couples, smaller family groupings, and individual images as part of a family session. With extended senior sessions, we often change locations and clothing several times, adding to the session length. Please ask about your type of session, and its typical length when you book your appointment.

  • Yes, we can schedule your session in our studio space, as available. We also book the studio for special event days several times a year and will send out a notification in our monthly newsletter. If you would like to receive a copy, send us an email request with your name and all of your contact information, and we will add you to our mailing list.

  • No. Anne-Marie does not do boudoir sessions. She loved being a part of amazing weddings for over ten years, but she no longer has the time in her schedule for them. Unfortunately, Birth, Fresh 48 and Newborn sessions have to be scheduled far in advance, and at this time her travel schedule does not allow for these appointments.

  • Yes, many of our portraits have been created away from home. Call us to talk about some of our favorite locations including those a little further afield. We have a beach session event in California each year, and love to see new places in Arizona. We have created images in many parts of the world. Inquire about a location and we will give you a quote for travel expenses.

  • We create a guide to preparing for your portrait session for each of our clients! We also schedule a complimentary portrait consultation in our studio where we talk about your personal style, clothing options, colors etc. If needed, we can discuss your options on Zoom or over the phone. Anne-Marie has relationships with several personal shoppers at stores including Macy's and Nordstrom in several cities. These services are free to you and can help you pull together the perfect look for your portraits at any price point. You only pay for the clothing you buy! We are always on the lookout for great shopping sources for you and can suggest some of our favorites during your consultation. You can even send us a digital image by text or email of clothing you are considering, and we can advise you that way as well!

  • Allow our photographer to do an in-home portrait consultation that will help you determine the best sizes and options for your portraits to be displayed optimally. Anne-Marie can suggest products or presentations that you may not have considered!

  • Give us a call at the studio to set up a portrait consultation. We prefer to meet with you in person, but if that's not possible, we can meet over Zoom or on the phone. We will talk about the portraits you would like to create, discuss your personal style, wall portrait sizes and product options, like albums and art pieces, pricing, and available appointment times. If you decide to book a session, your session fee will be paid to reserve your appointment. At this important meeting we will also help you select a perfect location, suggest clothing colors and styles that will complement your style and the location where you will hang your finished art pieces, and any special concerns you may have about the session. Once your appointment time is selected, and payment is made, you will receive an email containing your session confirmation/payment receipt and a custom created style board to help you prepare for your session. If you have any questions before your session, feel free to call the studio. We will call to confirm your appointment several days before your session.

  • As soon as your portrait session is scheduled, we will also set a presentation appointment in our studio. These are generally 1-2 weeks after your portrait session. It is important to have the decision makers present at this meeting. We will show you a collection of images from your session, carefully edited by your photographer. We will discuss placement and appropriate sizes for your wall portraits, choose small prints and other products for tabletops and gifts, and possibly select images for an album. Clients generally place their image order at the presentation appointment. Clients who don't order then usually order within two weeks of the presentation appointment. Payment is due at the time of ordering, either in full or with a minimum of 50% due at the time the order is placed. The balance is due before final delivery - at your wall portrait approval appointment. For orders over $1000, special payment arrangements can be made.

  • Please allow approximately three weeks for small print orders, and longer for wall images. All large wall images will have an approval print for you to review before the final mounted image is created. Generally, this is ready at the same time that we deliver your small print order. After you approve the proof, your finished canvas is usually ready within about ten days. Allow extra time for paintings, framing, custom collages, albums, and announcements - these are always unique to your order and require extensive design time. We are in touch with you every step of the way with a clear idea of expected delivery times so you know when your art pieces will be ready.

  • We are absolutely invested in printed portraits - millions of images are created every year that languish on phones or hard drives, never printed and eventually lost to changing technology or data corruption. Our primary focus is on creating wall portraits, albums and prints from your portrait session - these are printed at our professional lab to our exacting standards. We do not provide a disk of images with our portrait sessions; however, all ordered images are provided to you in a social media file-size with a small logo in the corner. They are also placed on our Facebook page for you to tag and enjoy. Once you have purchased a print collection, we have smaller-sized (8x10) Artist Choice image file collections that may be added to your purchase.

  • Yes, we are known for our unique and beautiful collages, paintings, albums, graduation announcements, Christmas cards, and custom art pieces. Please inquire about the possibilities at your portrait consultation. We often style your session based on the art pieces you wish to create, like a wall collage of family images, family Christmas card, or multi-image canvas. Ask to see samples of work that we have created for other clients!

  • Yes, we can create a wide variety of image collections and albums in a number of price ranges.

  • Yes, we work with our preferred framers in both Arizona and Texas to personally assure that your art pieces have the finest frames and fittings. We also have a wide selection of frames in house. With an investment over $1500 in large wall images or collage collections we offer complimentary custom installation as well!

  • Yes! You may re-order by phone or email with a credit card on file. We will need the image numbers to place the order. Image files are kept in our data storage for two years.

  • Our custom phone app is a great way to share the best images from your session with your family and friends – you always have them with you! The app is provided to you as our gift with every print collection order. We also create beautiful slideshows set to music of many of the best images from your session for $175. These images cannot be printed or transferred. We can also do a slideshow that contains short video clips and even text in addition to your images. These are available in our extended senior and family sessions only, please call for pricing.

  • Yes, we have done many restorations for clients that preserve their family history. Call to set up an appointment. We will have to see your portraits to determine the cost of each restoration.
